This study aims to comprehensively examine the geographical indication-registered gastronomic products of Nevşehir province and its districts (Central, Ürgüp, Avanos, Hacıbektaş, Derinkuyu, Gülşehir, Kozaklı and Acıgöl), evaluate products under application, and identify potential registration candidates. The increasing global visibility of the Cappadocia region in UNESCO listings and its intensive tourism traffic necessitate the systematic documentation of region-specific gastronomic values.
